Beautiful Philippines beaches

A 5 minute walk from Puerto Galera in barangay Tabinay there is Tabinay Beach.The most beautiful beaches. That’s a popular topic for many. And you’ll see many blogs write about the nice sandy beaches here in the Philippines. But if you look closely it’s always the same desolate sandy bunch. Sometimes it’s even photoshopped. Not much variation and creativity there. So I explored Puerto Galera and surroundings a bit and these are 3 beaches I’ve been on.

Sabang is a village some 10 minutes from Puerto Galera by tricycle. Sabang has no ‘real’ beach. Just low tide and high tide. During low tide there is a dirty strip of sand… Laden with boats and people in dive suits.There are many more beaches here. I’ve been on a few. And there are many more to see. This is an ongoing experience… Behold!

Tabinay Beach

This beach mostly lacks sand and is just gravel and stones. Every day it looks different and new because of all the garbage and dead foliage washing up in the high tide. But, it’s nice for a stroll and finding pretty stones, there is also a small river at one end of the beach.

Sabang Beach

A short walk along the bay and you’ll see this giant patch of rocks. This is flooded during high tide. If you walk even further and go through a small pathway into the next bay things get a little better. Which takes us to…
