Best Resorts in Philippines

I stayed in Frendz for 5 days as a solo traveller - what a fantastic hostel!! It is located on 2 minutes walk from white beach and 10 minutes from the main kitesurfing beach. The staff here are super friendly and do everything they can to make you stay as comfortable as possible. I decided to pay a bit extra and go for a double room - and for the price of 1000pesos I feel I got the bargain of the century - I have a super comfy double bed, a massive room with nice wood deco and a beautiful bamboo veranda. Even though this is a hostel I have been able to sleep every night without been woken by drunken backpackers. The food is super tasty and very well priced. And when you stay here you get a discount of a fantastic dive shop (fisheye) and kitesurfing school - this was great as this is why I came to Boracay. As a solo traveller for the first time in many a year Frendz was great as there is a great area in the centre of the hostel for eating and having a beer and meeting fellow travellers.

If you do come to Frendz you have to remember this is a hostel and not a 5 star hotel - but I have stayed in many hostels over the years and this is definitely up there with the best I have been to.
